Local number 407-351-4100, Campers should have a rate of $35, this is where right down the road on International Drive. This place is the same cost as the Riande, but better quality. This hotel was completely remodeled in April of 2003. For $35 per night you also get an expanded continental breakfast w/ hot items and a shuttle to all Orlando major attractions. There is a full city block walk to the tunnel.

Continental Plaza Hotel
It is located directly across the street from the Tunnel and is very convenient. They have given us a rate of $35 per room, whether single or double occupancy. These are not luxury accommodations. Please call ahead to book your room (407) 352-8211. NOTE - bring an alarm clock.

TRANSPORTATION:

Shuttle Service
The Mears Shuttle runs frequently from the Orlando Airport to the area close to the tunnel. They can drop you off at the continental plaza for $14 one way. You can make reservations by clicking here.

Rental Cars
The cheapest I have found is www.americar.com. I rented the economy size for a week each time for under $100.00.

Bus Service
Shuttles/Buses are available outside the arrivals area, buses go to the Pine St. bus terminal downtown. Departures every 30-60 minutes, journey time 40 minutes. Fare $0.85, but no large bags allowed. Shuttles are available to a large number of destinations in the area. To downtown Orlando the journey takes around 30 minutes and costs $12.

The airport shuttle service is now handled through J&M Shuttle to and from Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. To use the shuttle, you must give J&M at least 24 hours notice.
